It's A Family Affair

4th generation family owned Pals Restaurant & Lounge has been serving the community for over 40 years.

The owner Devon Woodson has been carrying the legacy of his great grandfather & his grandmother and is  paving the way for the next generation.

Devon Woodson says in the upcoming feature documentary ‘Rise & Rebuild: Tale of Three Cities,’ produced by Tribeca Film Studio and Bank of America,

“Atlanta is the bastion of black wealth, entertainment, entrepreneurship …… that’s black power!”

The film, an official selection for Cucalorus 2022 film festival, is directed by Asako Gladsjo and Sam Pollard and portrays individuals in Atlanta, Chicago, and Wilmington, North Carolina who confront the destruction of Black wealth in their communities and devise strategies for building a more prosperous future for all.
